Implementation of the Korea Electronic Travel Authorization

The Korea Electronic Travel Authorization is implemented for foreigners entering the country without a visa.

K-ETA Overview

• Subject : 112 countries that concluded a visa-waiver agreement with the Republic of Korea (Subject to change depending on the COVID-19 situation)
• How to apply : Apply through the K-ETA homepage/mobile app 72 hours before departure (www.k-eta.go.kr)
• Fee : 10,000 KRW (Approximately $9~10)/ Additional fee separate

• Period of validity : 2 years from the date of authorization (In case of changing important information such as passport information, re-application is required)
• Effective : Sep 01, 2021
