The Government of Mongolia has made a resolution on temporary closure of some border points and on restriction of movements through those borders of Mongolia in accordance with the Governmental Resolution number 39 through its session on January 31, 2020.

In accordance with the Resolution, Chinese nationals and other nationals through the territory of People’s Republic of China have been prohibited to penetrate to the territory of Mongolia through the borders of airway, railway and ground transportation for a period from February 01, 2020 through March 02, 2020.

Therefore, MIAT Mongolian Airlines follows the resolution and unable to transport foreign nationals to Mongolia through Beijing and Hong Kong of People’s Republic of China. Also during above mentioned period, we shall not restrict foreign nationals to leave Mongolia but it is also impossible to transport Mongolian nationals to visit to Beijing and Hong Kong destinations.

MIAT Mongolian Airlines shall serve full refund of purchased e-tickets and free of charged rebooking on certain routes for customers whose flights were affected by these suspensions.
